SBI Bank JA Clerk Job 2024 Pay Scale

The starting basic pay for an SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) is Rs.19,900/- (Rs.17,900/- plus two advance increments for graduates).Including allowances like DA, HRA, and other benefits, the in-hand salary ranges between Rs.26,000 to Rs.29,000 per month, depending on the location of posting.

The selection process includes:

Phase-I: Preliminary Exam

Objective Test for 100 marks (1 hour).

Sections:

English Language – 30 Qs (20 min)

Numerical Ability – 35 Qs (20 min)

Reasoning Ability – 35 Qs (20 min)

Negative marking: 1/4th mark for wrong answers.

Phase-II: Main Exam

Objective Test for 200 marks (2 hr 40 min).

Sections:

General/Financial Awareness – 50 Qs (35 min)

General English – 40 Qs (35 min)

Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Qs (45 min)

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude – 50 Qs (45 min)

Negative marking: 1/4th mark for wrong answers.

Bonus Marks: SBI apprentices get 2.5% bonus marks if training is completed by 30.11.2024.

The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise.
